I was searching Google tonight for the search phrase: "doll play +research". I stumbled on a really cool article that mentioned research from 1986. I Googled "Sutton Smith 1986 dolls" and fell into a ton of research that must have influenced the development of Mommy Doll. We started working on Mommy Doll in 1987- so it makes sense we read the research. While poking around I found out Mommy Doll is in the National Museum of Play: The Strong Museum and I contacted them to see if they want real samples. What a great find. Made my day.
